Mission & Mandate
The Paranatural Warfare Command (PENTAGRAM) is the directorate of the United States Department of War responsible for the identification, containment, and neutralization of paranatural threats to national security.
What We Do
PENTAGRAM plans and executes counter-paranatural operations, conducts thaumatological research in support of national defense, and maintains liaison relationships with allied Groups of Interest operating under federal charter. The Command reports to the Secretary of War through the Office of Paranatural Affairs.
History
Established in 1963 following a series of undisclosed containment incidents along the eastern seaboard, PENTAGRAM was formed to consolidate the Department's scattered paranatural response programs under a single command structure. Since then, the Command has grown to encompass six mission directorates and thirty-four field and research sites nationwide.

Memetic Defense Bureau
Defends against cognitohazardous and memetic threats.
Counter-Paranatural Operations
Coordinates rapid-response containment teams.
Personnel Directorate
Manages recruitment, training, and welfare of Command staff.
